sal Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 There was some discussion on this in the Film Corner thread. I liked it alot until the very end, which seemed completely illogical and ruined the whole movie for me. Nice performance by Russell Crowe, though. Quote

medjuck Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 I watched the original on TCM right after seeing the new version. Original is 1/2 hour shorter and the ending makes more sense. Quote
Guest bluenote82 Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 (edited) I watched the original on TCM right after seeing the new version. Original is 1/2 hour shorter and the ending makes more sense. The ending of "3:10 To Yuma" is very simple, but I don't want to give it away to anyone who hasn't seen it, but let's just say, Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) admired Dan Evans (Christian Bale). Wade ended up being sort of a good guy even though he was the bad guy in the movie. The ending was a little weak, but it didn't ruin it for me. I thought it could have been thought out a little more, but I'm glad to see a good Western movie finally come out. Edited March 3, 2008 by bluenote82 Quote
