pasta
loving this lp right now- other thoughts?
DTMX
I like it. I think it got its title because the recording studio overlooked a skateboard park. I read a really weird review by some skatepunk kid who bought the CD because it had the word "skateboard" in the title. He was expecting something that sounded like the Offspring. I'll have to unleash my Google-fu upon the internets to see if I can find it...

Noj
I'm a skatepunk, and it's a fine album. I haven't played it for a while, I'll have to dust it off.
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez
if only we could edit out the chick corea track, i would substitute dave grusin on every hank mobley album, if only chick wouldn;t of done this date w/ joe
BFrank
Definitely a good album. Especially for late-era Joe.

analogak
am i drunk or does the title track sound like the title track of puttin it together? maybe just farrell's solo? skateboard park is a little more swinging and a bit faster but i think they are pretty much the same. Rosco
I read a really weird review by some skatepunk kid who bought the CD because it had the word "skateboard" in the title. He was expecting something that sounded like the Offspring. So I can't find this CD anywhere because such dimwits bought all the remaining copies? We've found a way to market jazz to 'young people'!
