robviti
it was a great show, sorry you missed it thom. to answer your question, charlie kholhase has a great weekly radio program mondays from 2-4 pm on wmbr 88.1 called research and development. during his show (which can be downloaded from the station's website), charlie provides a schedule of jazz events for the upcoming week or two. along with listings of major acts performing in the more established venues, charlie lets you know about shows that you're not likely to hear about elsewhere. you can receive his weekly list of events by emailing him at research@wmbr.org. here's a sampling from the most recent list: Tonight: JAZZ COMPOSERS ALLIANCE ORCHESTRA with JIM HOBBS at the YMCA Theatre, Cambridge 8 PM Monday 3/3 ALLAN CHASE and the NEC STUDENT ENSEMBLE plays SUN RA. St. Botolph Hall, New England Conservatory, 8 PM Wednesday 3/5 JERRY BERGONZI QUARTET at The Lily Pad, Cambridge 10 PM Friday 3/7 DON BYRON with the MIT FESTIVAL JAZZ ENSEMBLE, Kresge Auditorium, MIT, Cambridge 8 PM
tkeith
Thanks, shrink. I should have known the answer. I used to go to a weird titled website... can't recall it now, but they stopped updating it awhile back.
