Jim Alfredson Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Detroit just killed the Sonics. Winning 4 of 5 out west ain't bad for my boyz. I'm glad the Lakers beat the Nets. I dislike the Lakers but I hate the Nets even more. Kidd is one ugly mofo. Quote

Soulstation1 Posted March 14, 2004 Author Report Posted March 14, 2004 (edited) "the glove" in spanish is juanto (spelling could be off) "el cartero" is the mailman Edited March 14, 2004 by Soulstation1 Quote
Noj Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 Ugly game tonight with the Lakers turning the ball over nearly 20 times. They need to hurry up and get into playoff form. They should stomp teams like the Bulls by 30... I think they can get it together come playoff time. Everyone knows the Lakers are the team least affected by not having home court advantage. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted March 14, 2004 Author Report Posted March 14, 2004 (edited) noj have you seen them live this year? Edited March 14, 2004 by Soulstation1 Quote
Noj Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 Nope. I usually make it out once a year or so, when a friend of mine gets company tickets. No such luck this year so far. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 5 straight games for the Pistons holding an opponent to under 70 points. That's some serious Wallace D, baby! 'Sheed and Big Ben are having a block party! Quote
rachel Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 Any Cleveland fans out there as ticked off as I am at the network black-out that prevented the Pacers/Cavs game from being televised in either market? I hate that we lost, but listening to it on radio just didn't cut it for me, regardless of the outcome. I wanted to *see* LeBron in action, not hear about it. He had a great game and is the real deal. They certainly are turning things around. Fortunately our next game is Sacramento at home... Quote
Soulstation1 Posted March 15, 2004 Author Report Posted March 15, 2004 i'll be pulling for the "cads" vs the "queens".... i hate the queens ss1 Quote
rachel Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 (edited) i'll be pulling for the "cads" vs the "queens".... i hate the queens Oops...sorry, I didn't mean for my last post to be confusing: The Pacers got beat by the Cavs; the next game that I'm referring to is the Pacers versus the Kings. I'm a true- blue dyed in the (choose local colloquialism of choice here) Pacers fan. But more than that I'm a great game of basketball fan which I *didn't* get to experience visually today. So I guess an LA fan is gonna pull for the PACERS! (what nickname do you have for us?) Edited March 15, 2004 by rachel Quote
Soulstation1 Posted March 15, 2004 Author Report Posted March 15, 2004 (edited) i really haven't had to worry about the pacers i'll get back to you on that. what's up with reggie miller, is he even scoring 10 points a night? the t-wolves will now be known as the "tenderwolves" i can't say my nick-name for the spurs, it could get me in DEEP trouble ss1 now that the lakers are all healthy (as of this minute) can they win it all?
