I have heard a lot of Marcia Ball's recordings and have seen her live. As a New Orleans classic R&B style pianist she is quite good. I wouldn't call her a jazz musician.

I like her music. If you are a publicist of some type for her, your over the top presentation in your first post here is not going to impress people on this forum.

That's right. We're not impressed with over the top posts until the first dozen under the top have been posted. ^_^

Oh? I thought that the initial probationary period was 5,000 posts. I thought I read that in the Manual.

I saw Marcia Ball in Austin at the Broken Spoke, I think it was, in the late 1970s.

Mighty fine, as I recall.

I'd be more over the top about it, but I'm not O.T.T.-licensed yet.
