R.I.P. Pianist Gerry "The Wig" Wiggins

I did a search and could not find anything here about Wig. Wig passed away on Sunday, July 13 at the age of 86. Below are links to his obituary in today's L.A. Times, as well as beautiful rembrances from Devra Hall and Doug Ramsey:

A memorial/celebration of Wig's life is tentatively scheduled in Los Angeles for later this month. I'll post info as soon as there is confirmation.

Please note that Wig is also survived by his daughter, Sandy. This was not included in the L.A. Times obituary.
