Peter Johnson Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 All, In my recent move, I had a number of boxes shipped to Philadelphia. Very, very sadly, the box containing my complete set of Wax Poetics back issues, which I finally got around to opening this week, must have gotten dropped into a puddle...because almost all of them (and some books and other items) were completely destroyed. I know a lot of these issues are available from Wax Poetics itself, and many are out of print, but I thought I'd post this up to see if any board members have and no longer wish to keep any of these. The only issues I don't need are 25, 28, and 29--I'd like to re-create my set. I'm happy to pay for them (and for shipping)--so if you have any and want to ditch them, please drop me a PM or respond. Thanks! Quote
agent45 Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 Whoa, that's a big blow. The first handful of issues won't come cheap. I might suggest this, which is an anthology of their best articles from the first 5 issues. Problem is that it's not complete. Good luck on your hunt. Quote
Chalupa Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 Peter, are you still looking for back issues?? I know a record store here in town that has a bunch. PM me if you're still interested. Quote
sheldonm Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 FWIW Check dustygroove ...dusty generally has the curent issue plus the past few months on hand. I think I saw at least the last four issues when I was there last week. Quote
ghost of miles Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 Landlocked Music here in Bloomington has a number of the back issues as well at regular cover price--I'm sure they could ship them to you, Peter. Quote

Soulstation1 Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 A question If you get a WP subscription do they slap your name and address on the cover of the mag or is it sent in a shrink wrap bag? Quote
