Fun with Phones: Calling the Clueless and ending up talking

so, I called Columbia University Jazz Studies today as I was trying to reach a guy there who's doing research on Julius Hemphill; well, first I talked to some dodo who never heard of Julius and he says hold please; next thing I know, someone picks up and says "this is George Lewis."

I was somewhat taken aback, but first thing I could think of to say was, "hi, I'm Allen Lowe, by the way, I know Chuck Nessa."
