Hardbopjazz Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 How does someone make an appointment to view something in the Library of Congress? There is a file of the1958 Monterey Jazz Festival with, Sonny Rollins, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Carter and Gerry Mulligan and others recently added there. I plan on being in D.C. in early spring and would want to get a chance to see this film. Quote
jostber Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 There seems to be a lot of information here: http://www.loc.gov/visit/ Quote
ejp626 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 It's worth checking if the films were also added to the National Archives. They have a video facility in Maryland (Silver Springs I think) and it is set up well for dropping in, getting registered, and watching video and films. Quote
Hardbopjazz Posted December 19, 2008 Author Report Posted December 19, 2008 Thanks for the information. Quote
