Here's a shot I just took of my first Mac, it has a low serial number and rests comfortably on a top shelf in my computorium. ....and it still works! Quote

Christiern Posted January 26, 2009 Author Report Posted January 26, 2009 That is how the graphics program, "Paint", was packaged. Quote
.:.impossible Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 I've read that many people created a makeshift chimney using that exact can, as prescribed by Woz. I think he actually preferred a tapered cardboard chimney, but... Quote
Christiern Posted January 26, 2009 Author Report Posted January 26, 2009 My baby Mac was preceded by an Apple ][ and an Apple ///. I don't think any version of Windows can hold a candle to the concurrent Mac OS. My current Mac is a 24" iMac.... I am delighted to report that Jimmy Heath has just bought the same machine. Bassist Ben Brown, who will help Jimmy set it up, now owns my old machine, a G4 that served me well, but he will also soon move on up. Quote
