Free For All Posted February 26, 2009 Author Report Posted February 26, 2009 (edited) Thanks, Claude. I found this version of basically the same material, released by RLR Records Edited February 26, 2009 by Free For All Quote
Free For All Posted February 28, 2009 Author Report Posted February 28, 2009 Many versions of these radio dates. So which one has the best sound? Are any of these legit labels? The version I posted sounds pretty good. In any case, it's so great to hear more music from this band. Quote
jazzbo Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 There's no "legitimate" version that I know of, nothing released with the sanction of the estate. That said, this material has now entered the "public domain" in Europe so they're "legit" for sale in Europe. The Jazz Band was the first compilation of this sort I have heard and it sounds pretty damned good. I think the source broadcasts are of really good quality. If you're copy sounds good. . . well they all probably sound about the same. Quote
Enterprise Server Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 I have this session. It's been released numerous times. Same product, different box. The music is so historical, it is a must for any serious Miles disciple. Quote
