Pianist Denny Zeitlin turns 71 years old today. Born 4/10/1938.

The suite may have been Slickrock. It knocked me out when I heard Zeitlin performed live at the 2002 IAJE conference.

I also have a duo version from a European broadcast that features David Friesen.

I listen to KSDS 88.3 FM in San Diego. I have issues with a number of the dj's (many are weak wannabes) but they do have a few who are on the money. The super star is Leo Gates who has a no-nonsense straight ahead hard core show. Extremely knowledgeable about the music and plays excellent tunes.
