Jazzmoose Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 There's nothing more obnoxious than a drunken snake. Quote
JohnS Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 I passed on the opportunity to sample snake wine when I was in China last year. Basically four dead snakes at the bottom of a gallon jar full of clear liquor. Quote
Hardbopjazz Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 (edited) Speaking of snake bites, I remember one summer 20 to 25 years ago, my brother, some friends and I were in New Mexico. We went to a rattle snake round up. For a few bucks you can get some balloons on a stick and dangle them in the rattle snake pit. My brother did that and the snake popped one of the balloons and some of the venom flew up and splashed him in the eye. Within 10 minutes he looked like prize fighter that had his face belted for 10 rounds. At the hospital he started to have problems breathing. Luckily he ended up being fine. If I recall he was given a shot of adrenaline and some other shot which I don't recall. Edited June 9, 2009 by Hardbopjazz Quote
