Dan Gould Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 My wife is freaking out because it appears that Windows Live has somehow determined that she is a spammer (she did have a lot of bounce-back emails from one mortgage office she works with) and have suspended her access to her business email, a huge problem as you might imagine. Right now though her biggest worry regards her outlook account. She is concerned that if she shuts down Outlook, she will lose access to all of her emails. I don't think it should be a concern since once she uses Outlook to download emails from her two Windows Live accounts, those emails exist on her machine, not just on the Windows Hotmail server. So is it safe for her to shut down Outlook? In the meantime, Microsoft is pissing her off even more, because when she logs in it gives her instructions to create a support ticket which will be responded to in "24 hours" but when you click on the help link, it takes her to a searchable help site. Unbelievable that a few bounce-back emails causes them to shut down a business account. As always, thanks in advance! Quote
Dan Gould Posted July 3, 2009 Author Report Posted July 3, 2009 Mods, please delete the thread as the issue was never addressed and the issue is moot as Windows Live help desk actually responded in far less than the 24 hours promised. Thanks in advance. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 Wait a minute; you actually got help from Microsoft, and you want to delete the thread? This could be a sign of the apocolypse!! Quote
Jazzmoose Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 It could just be you; try buying a lottery ticket! Quote
