Swinging Swede Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 You're right about that. A dream final it has been called. Usain Bolt vs Tyson Gay vs Asafa Powell. Bolt is the favourite but who knows what will happen. Will we see a new world record? Quote
B. Goren. Posted August 16, 2009 Author Report Posted August 16, 2009 Will we see a new world record? Yes!!!!! 9.58!!! Quote
Swinging Swede Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 Incredible. Bolt lowered his own world record with 0.11 from 9.69 to 9.58! Gay ran his fastest race ever, finishing just 0.02 from the old world record, and yet he was outclassed. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 (edited) No cable will see the race on Sportscenter tonight Must have been insane!!! I believe Bolt is 6'5" Edited August 16, 2009 by Soulstation1 Quote

Swinging Swede Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 Caster Semenya - man or woman? This 18-year-old "girl" crushed all competition on the 800 m final for women. Watch and see what you think. The race can be watched here if it stays up. The IAAF has now revealed that it will conduct a gender verification test on Semenya. Quote

Soulstation1 Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1yCU3OTbqQ Bolt 19.19 WR in 200M Insane Quote
Swinging Swede Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 Yes, he lowered this world record with 0.11 too. And yet he has said that he isn't in good form for 200 m, since he hasn't had time to train endurance much this season. Will he go under 19 seconds when he is? The experts began to talk about his possibilities on 400 m. One does wonder what he could do there... Quote
Van Basten II Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 Not only that, but think of it he has not matured physically yet ... Quote
B. Goren. Posted August 22, 2009 Author Report Posted August 22, 2009 I cant believe it happened again to the 100 x 4 US team: After examining the video of the race, the Referee disqualified the USA Team. Quote
