Bright Moments Posted August 24, 2009 Author Report Posted August 24, 2009 is it true that she and chet baker had a "thing"? Quote
clifford_thornton Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 Mambo Nassau, on Z records, is really excellent. I've heard a smattering of other material that was quite good as well, but I can certainly vouch for this one. Rubbery insanity with a club-friendly polyphony. Quote
Bright Moments Posted August 28, 2009 Author Report Posted August 28, 2009 well i enjoyed press color and nassau mambo - but i REALLY LIKED THIS ONE!!!! now i need some help finding "zulu rock" Quote
clifford_thornton Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Zulu Rock is supposed to be pretty incredible but I've yet to hear it. It is on CD, as most of her output. Nassau is an avant-garde post-no wave club jam; I'm therefore surprised she worked with Chet. Quote
