mrjazzman Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Looking for the cd's "Extra Innings" and "Heavy Hitters" on Pony Canyon and "The Other Side Of Morning" by Nathan Davis................ Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Those two Eric Alexander dates are hard to find and if Eric has his way, they'll stay that way. I asked him about these two dates at a show and according to him, he was never paid for making them and has never received a dime in royalties from the label. Given that, I wonder why he just doesn't reissue them himself? It's not like Pony Canyon would have a leg to stand on in court. Later, Kevin Quote
Pete B Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 I bought "The Other Side of Morning" directly from Mr Davis 2 or 3 years ago. His website doesn't seem to be available anymore, but I would think you could contact him through Pitt (see http://www.music.pitt.edu/faculty/davis.html ). There is a telephone number on the back of the cd that you might try - 724-935-8206 - I remember talking to his wife (a charming lady) who handled the sale - I never spoke to Mr. Davis himself. Quote

Ken Dryden Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 I purchased the Nathan Davis CD from a board member earlier this year, it turned out to be autographed as well. A nice session. Quote
