romualdo Posted November 9, 2009 Report Share Posted November 9, 2009 Have just purchased the 5CD Ellington Reprise set - the european Warners (non US) reissue of the late 90' Mosaic box They've done a nice job of this, even including the Mark Tucker booklet that came in the original Mosaic set. The CD's come in cardboard mini sleeves (have always liked this - I know a lot of you out there don't) - I use the cellophane mini inner sleeves (can get them from Japan via USA) They protect the discs from being scratched. Also saves a lot of space. Only problem with this set is that booklet is in German (Spiegel Edition stamped on front cover) - wasn't advertised as that!! Does anyone know if an english version exists (was it also pressed for the UK?) - the booklet is held in with an elasticised cord & comes out easily Anyone know who would be best to contact (at Warners), if an english booklet does exist. If looked at both the UK & German Warner sites & they don't even have the set listed.
