Rein De Graaff, born in Groningen (The Netherlands) October 1942, is rather unknown outside The Netherlands, and that is undeserved. He led his own groups since the late 1950s. His Rein De Graaff trio, featuring Eric Ineke on drums and Koos Serierse on bass ( for the last decade: Marius Beets) started in the 1980s up to now accompaning American musicians visiting Europe for its Stoomcurssusen Bebop tours .......... In 1993 the trio invited Conte Candoli and Bob Cooper

Fortunately, not completely unknown outside the Netherlands! I'm just spinning Johnny Griffin's The Jamfs Are Coming!, where The Little Giant is given sterling support by Rein De Graaf, Koose Seriese or Henk Haverhock and Art Taylor. :tup

I've got a Rein De Graaf CD, Now's the Time (on the Timeless label) that I got from Stateside. I believe it's a collection of Rein with different players. I haven't listened to it in a few years but it's got Dexter on it. Great Cd.
