Chuck Nessa Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Whether you know "the funky drummer" from James Brown classics or from Public Radio's Michael Feldman show, he needs help. He has cancer and the details can be read at http://www.clyde.zabu.org/ . Thanks. Quote
Rokker Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 hey everybody! please spread around www.clydestubblefield.com it goes to the same "Zabu" site, but is easier to remember and proliferate. please make sure to put "Clyde Stubblefield" in the subject field of any "paypal" payments so i know it is $$ for Clyde. Clyde is doing well after 2 operations in the last year or so. he is in good spirits and wants everyone to know that he is very appreciative of all the help, it is helping him a great deal!! thanx again, Rökker publisher Maximum Ink music magazine www.maximum-ink.com Quote
mikeb Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 I believe Mr. Stubblefield could play a damp shoebox and make it sound funky. It is a shame he has made little, if any money from his contributions to classic, timeless music. It is good to read that he is doing well and is in good spirits. The check will be in the mail shortly! God bless you, Clyde! Quote
