On my Mac, I control-click (same as right click on a PC) on the video to copy the 'embed code.' Then I hit the little icon here to insert media and paste the code between the tags. But all that happens is the sting of code appears, not the actual video. I must be doing something wrong, but it's not obvious to me what it is.

I like rainbow guy, too, on a certain level. One can only imagine what happened when he put the camera down.

I tried to type out the directions but tags vanish once posted, lol. Let me try again and see if I can trick the thing. I'm using * instead of brackets for this example. *youtube* */youtube*

Just copy the URL from the address bar in youtube (leave out anything after the "&" in the url, you don't need it) and paste it between those tags listed above.

As as example, I took this URL:

You delete the "feature=related" thing. so it looks like this *youtube*

When using brackets, that becomes....

Me too, though living in Eugene I know a few people who get excited about such natural occurrences. (I do too, though I'm not as demonstrative. ) He certainly lives in a beautiful setting and raises some very cute puppies.

You can also copy the youtube address from the address bar, then when replying here click the "insert media" icon that is circled in red and then paste the address in.

Meanwhile I've forgotten how to insert pictures that aren't in condensed view...
