Bebop Banjo

Hi. I'm looking for straight ahead jazz with good banjo solos. So far I have only found 3 tracks by Chuck Wayne - "Greensleeves" "On Green Dolphin Street" and "Lovely." (Those have banjo guitar (6 string) and I don't care if it's 5 string or 6 - the sound is what I'm looking for.) I know there are a lot of really early recordings with banjo, but I'd prefer something more hi-fi. I have listened to samples of Bela Fleck, but I'm looking for something more traditional sounding - traditional in every way except that a banjo solo is featured. (If Bela has traditional sounding recordings, let me know.) 50's and 60's recordings preferred, but later stuff is OK. Any recommendations? Thank you for your help! -Colin

I sampled the songs. This is a very cool album! I'm always on the look out for something different and this definitely qualifies. Thanks!
