ghost of miles Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 (edited) This past week's Night Lights show, Goin' Up: Space Age Jazz is now archived for online listening. In addition to the above listed, music from Gil Melle, Curtis Counce, Earl Bostic, Russ Garcia, Mel Torme, and Frank Comstock, as well as some space sounds and news flashes. Special thanks to board members Teasing the Korean, Medjuck, and jazztrain. Edited July 22, 2019 by ghost of miles Quote
Teasing the Korean Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Looking forward to hearing this! Thanks for the shout out! Is real audio the only way to listen to these shows? I have iTunes on my Mac at home, and Windows Media on my computer at work. Quote
ghost of miles Posted September 25, 2010 Author Report Posted September 25, 2010 (edited) TTK, generally you need RealPlayer, but see this thread for possible workarounds. Apologies to any who tried to access the show today and couldn't make a connection. One of our old A Moment of Science episodes got voted up onto Reddit.com's top page, and our server crashed from the overwhelming amount of traffic that was generated. You should be able to get to the program page now. Edited July 22, 2019 by ghost of miles Quote
ghost of miles Posted July 22, 2019 Author Report Posted July 22, 2019 We re-aired Goin' Up: Space Age Jazz this week in honor of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, and it remains archived for online listening. Quote
