Ken Dryden Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 I think Brubeck has mentioned in several interviews that Fantasy released several live albums that were recorded without his knowledge. He wasn't happy with the piano on the Columbia LP Jackpot (he describes in the liner notes how the new baby grand wasn't holding its pitch) and the circumstances behind The Last Time We Saw Paris (difficulties with Desmond, who missed at least once concert during that tour) make it an album that he would rather forget.
