romualdo Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 (edited) I'm interested in obtaining the two Stitt early 70's Cobblestone/Muse sessions, Constellation & Tune Up - they tend to be highly regarded I'd appreciate some advice on the "best" sounding CD version to date ie Two individual Muse CD's (early 90's), single 32 Jazz CD (late 90's) or the most recent Spanish (Gambit) single CD issue. There are probably Japanese versions also. I've read that the Gambit pressing/mastering sounds pretty good! Edited January 26, 2011 by romualdo Quote

Brad Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 Have the 32 Jazz version and sounds good to me. Haven't heard the others. Whatever version you can get, run, don't walk to get Sonny in top form. Also, pick up if you can everything else released on 32 Jazz! Quote
jlhoots Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 I have the 32 Jazz version also. No problems for me with the sound. Quote
