Was this on the Mosaic singles reissue of this album? If not, did the liner notes explain why not (e.g lost in the Atlantic warehouse fire)?

I have the Mosaic reissue, and there is no explanation offered for the track's absence.

This record always seemed somewhat incomplete to me, and an extra cut might have helped. The opening track is stunning, however.
