Jim R Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 Me? I like it- even some of the choreography, and I've never been much into that. I can't decide if I've never heard of these guys until today, or just forgot about them. I think it might be the former, which is a little surprising to me. I wonder if they had a "short run" on U.S. variety shows... I suspect so. Quote
Dave James Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 Nothin' wrong with this. I'll even admit to being intrigued by their harmony in the very fist clip Jim posted. Where were these guys when they foisted off Armand Assante and Antonio Banderas as the Castillo brothers in The Mambo Kings. Quote

Wasn't Mel Torme the "musical consultant" or some such for the Judy Garland TV show? Mel could do 'hip with a touch of cheese'... Quote
