Signal to Noise Magazine

I'm taking the opportunity to start a new thread on Signal to Noise...and to welcome stnguy. He posted the following in the Cadence thread. STN deserves its own thread, in my opinion. So, I'm cross posting to make sure people are informed about goings on at Signal to Noise.

Rest assured, the spring 2012 issue of Signal to Noise will be published and mailed in mid-April, 2012. In fact, our current plan is to publish in both the spring and fall. With the exception of the now-defunct Borders chain, we'll still be available in all of the same old locations. While subscriptions aren't currently available, we will sell individual copies through our website. Many back issues are still available for those who just can't wait!

Of course, we wish David Haney and the 'new' Cadence the very best! The magazine has been an inspiration for us and we're glad to know it's not going away.

The last announced plan was for an annual issue. Now it sounds like they will do 2 issues a year. I think that's better. Hard to cover a field as fluid as this in a yearly issue.

Ah cool - I only knew about the annual thing. Hope it can continue - after all, I plan to put in some work for at least the next issue!

I know Haney's music but didn't realize he was also in the publishing business.
