This unit produces an amazing Blu-ray image and an excellent up-scaled DVD image. I was pretty amazed at the picture from my old DVDs. On top of that this unit has great sound from DVD, Blu-ray and excellent CD Redbook sound. This was a 900 dollar machine list price. There are a handful of scratches in the paint at the back of the top panel, and a tiny divet dent at the front of the top (came that way to me). Otherwise this is in excellent condition.
