.:.impossible Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 What is this? I recognize the second tune as Justin Beiber. This guy's vocals are unreal. I know super music when I hear it! Quote

jazzbo Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Talented guys. Music doesn't do much for me though. Too Corea Fusion-ish. Quote
JSngry Posted January 21, 2012 Author Report Posted January 21, 2012 Too Corea Fusion-ish. That's exactly what I like about it! Fusion as "pop" works for me far more often that Fusion as...anything else. So if I can hear a freakin' Justin Beiber song done like this, all I can do is smile and wait for real-world pop to catchup. That's probably going to be quite the long wait, but still... I love pop, but it very seldom loves me back. Quote
.:.impossible Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 (edited) So they're called Dirty Loops. Apologies for laziness. I'm on my phone and YouTube info Is limited when embedded. A friend of mine, Bryce McCormick just made a beautiful album of pop songs that he wrote a couple of years ago during a project where he wrote a song a day for 365. Tired of making music for musicians, he and the musicians that were all making music for each other made a wonderful pop album called Let It Go. I'll see if I can work out a link here for you Jim. I think you'd feel good about the music if nothing else. Good vibes and good musicianship. It is a pretty special record as it turns out. Not my usual "bag", but I fell in love with the songs while working on the album art.[quote name='JSngry' timestamp='1327164775' I love pop, but it very seldom loves me back.
