Matthew Posted July 7, 2012 Report Posted July 7, 2012 I can never think of the Arizona schools as Pac 10, and now with Colorado & Utah -- forget it. Like Chuck says: Let 'em die, it's all about the money anyway. Quote

Like Chuck says: Let 'em die, it's all about the money anyway. Amen to that. This is so much about the money now that if it weren't for the Ducks, I don't think I'd pay any attention at all. When the BCS playoffs roll around in 2014, the money is going to get insane. It'll be like having three Super Bowls. The fat cats will be wondering why it took them so long to get this done. Quote

Tim McG Posted July 7, 2012 Report Posted July 7, 2012 Now hold on just a minute there, Guys. The problem with college football is not with the game itself. It is, however, completely on the shoulders of that ACC/SEC controlled farce known as the BCS. The whole thing changes to a 4-team playoff system in 2014. I'm on the wait-and-see plan until after the BCS dies [a slow and painful death] and we get a good look at how that playoff system works. Until then...just gimme back my traditional Rose Bowl! Quote
alocispepraluger102 Posted July 7, 2012 Author Report Posted July 7, 2012 oblique to this matter, from the twitter------ 9:00 PM: From the Oregonian's Allan Brettman, Nike released a statement saying they have no plans to change the name of its Joe Paterno Child Development Center at its world headquarters in Beaverton.
