John Litweiler Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 Too bad the govt. forced HD-TV on us. I can't get the local CBS and 1 of the 2 White Sox stations any more, plus now that today is windy I can't get ABC any more. On a real windy day I can't get any TV stations here. Quote
JSngry Posted April 6, 2013 Author Report Posted April 6, 2013 You complain now, but once you start watching sports on HD, you will wish that you had not been born into a non-HD world. Trust me on this one. And if you like cleavage (and not saying that you should, just proposing that if you do), then sports are again the best reason to get HD, what with the way that camera-peoples and directors like to roll, you know. mjzee Posted April 7, 2013 Report Posted April 7, 2013 When we lived in Connecticut, there was a chain of furniture stores called Bob's. Bob insisted on doing his own commercials. On a regular TV they weren't so bad, but in large hi-def you really got to see his teeth close-up. This was not a good thing. Quote
