ValerieB Posted May 29, 2013 Report Posted May 29, 2013 I am so very sad to read of Ms. Bach's passing. she was one in a million. I was lucky enough to be in her company on a few occasions. as many have probably written, she was warm, elegant, classy, highly intelligent about a lot of subjects but especially music and jazz. I was under the impression that long ago she was married to Shorty Rogers. R.I.P. Jean Bach. I was always hoping to spend some more time with you. Quote
brownie Posted May 29, 2013 Author Report Posted May 29, 2013 Jean Bach was married to Shorty Sherock, not Rogers! Quote
Christiern Posted May 29, 2013 Report Posted May 29, 2013 I took this photo of Jean Bach and Dan Morgenstern at J@LC, a few years back. I hope it does not offend anyone here. Quote
JSngry Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 I'll especially miss her brackish martinis, never served until sure to be safe. Quote
paul secor Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 I had never heard of the Harlem stoop photograph until I saw Ms. Bach's film. So I thank her for that. Quote
