alocispepraluger102
http://jdisc.columbia.edu/session/neal-hefti-december-1947 "Session Details: Some have alleged that this session was overdubbed by Parker after the fact, but according to Sutherland and Burton, that is false. Also, while those two list only one track (Repetition) jazzdisco.org list the two here, saying that Parker only plays on track #2 (Rhumbacito), which must be an error. -JS Also, in jazzdisco.org (Sutherland/Burton don't list the orchestra personnel), the Conga player is spelled "Ibarra" as it is in other places on the internet for this session. However, his name is sometimes also spelled "Iborra" and some googling finds a myspace post of a man citing the death of his father "Diego Iborra", who played drums and there is a photograph, presumably of his father, with a sax player that is definitely Charlie Parker. This is all just an overwrought way of saying, his name is probably "iborra" but countless Anglo discographers mispelled it. -JS Sources: jazzdisco.org, sutherland & Burton"
