Rooster_Ties Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 Bumping, cuz this is tonight (in less than 4 hours, presuming the 8pm start is Eastern). Not sure if I'll be home in time, but there are some recent Youtube clips online (2014, just search on "Karen Mantler"). Trio seems to be piano, guitar, bass -- though one clip had bass clarinet (plus bass, iirc). Nice stuff, from what I heard. TOTALLY what I was expecting, in a good way -- though I'm sure opinions about her vary wildly. I'd pay to catch her in concert in a heartbeat - fun stuff, for those open to such things. Quote
