I posted a short while ago in an older thread but decided maybe this deserved it's own. You may recall that we discussed a mystery Gene Harris 45 on the Stereo Gems label a while back.

There was mention of another Gene Harris 45, Ballin' The Jack b/w I Love You and finally, I got a shot at nabbing this one. And, best of all, the seller habitually includes lengthy snippets from each 45 he posts. So you can tell me what you think of this latest aural evidence:

That first track sounds to me more like "the" Gene Harris than any track on his Jubilee recordings (the ones with the white guy pictured on the back) and more like Gene than the previous 45.

What do you think? Post soon cause who knows how long those seller-hosted mp3 clips will be active.
