undergroundagent Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 (edited) I'm just wondering...does Blue Note/EMI or Toshiba Japan produce a set amount of Conns, JRVGs, and TOCJs? Or do they play it by ear, and only produce as much as they think they can sell? Edited February 19, 2004 by undergroundagent Quote
Stefan Wood Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 For the Japanese Blues Notes, there is a time frame where they are available -- it is indicated on the cd or the obi strip. I can't remember for how long, about 2 years? The American Verve elite series operates this way. But as for a number produced, I don't know. Quote
undergroundagent Posted February 20, 2004 Author Report Posted February 20, 2004 I heard somewhere that JRVGS are limited to 5000 pressings. Is this estimate accurate? Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted February 21, 2004 Report Posted February 21, 2004 I heard somewhere that JRVGS are limited to 5000 pressings. Is this estimate accurate? I don't know but Grey and Weizy probably have them all in duplicate. Quote
