Rosie the Riveter, RIP

The lady who was the model for Rosie the Riveter has died at 92. I didn't know that the artist was Norman Rockwell.

Hmmm… I didn't know Rockwell did that either.

But then I look at it and think, "DUH! Who else could have drawn that?"

That whole generation is leaving very fast. "Soon there're will be no more old folks." Whenever I see a WWII vet I make sure to say thanks to the great sacrifice given for freedom,

It was our last just war, that's for sure.

It's funny, I come from an era where most folks think Communism was the greatest threat this country ever faced. But, if you talk to folks from that generation they'll tell you that Nazism was a bigger threat, and that it wasn't even close.
