What's YOUR Problem, Huh?

I'm with everyone else who has responded, Tim. I understand if you do not want to get into it here, but what is your situation? If it helps to "talk" about it, I know this community is as good a place as any to draw from. 

 

Well, I am treading on thin ice here...I am very careful about what I post  any more [my fault, nobody else's] and do not wish to  create a negative situation. 

BeBop PM'd me and I shared the details with him. I won't take up any more space here except to say I have multiple-myeloma. The same cancer Tom Brokaw is battling and the one which finally got Peter Boyle.

In all sincerity, if you PM me I will be happy to share my experience...or you could ask BeBop. I have occupied enough pixels on this BBS regarding my issues. And for those who still have problems with me, I am truly sorry.

I am completely oblivious Tim. No surprise there. At any rate, as with many of the problems people seem to have here, I'm sure the squabble is petty.

As Tim mentioned, we've had a little offline dialogue.  I initiated it based on some stuff I went through (indirectly), just to see if I could offer any help.

I don't know what collective or individual sentiment is toward Tim.  He's a brave guy facing tough challenges.  It's up to him what details he wants to reveal.  If you can't overcome "petty squabbles", as impossible puts it, tune out.  Please.  This is bigger stuff.  

The rest of us should be thinking of, supporting, and rooting for a human being/jazz lover/friend.  I'm inclined to start a support thread, but harbor some small fear that it will devolve.  (The advantage would be that knowledge of Tim's challenge and expressions of support don't get buried here.)  

So join in reminding a friend that he isn't alone.
