Just the Dvorak

Image result for bbc music magazine Best of British

A recent BBC Music Magazine disc. They usually trawl the BBC archives for standard repertoire for these discs but every now and then they pull out something like this. Commissions from over the years by Weir, McCabe, Arnold, Harvey and Colin Matthews; and lesser known names like Matthew Kelley, David Sawer, Tammas Slater. More please.

To my surprise this Japanese reissue also contains the Khachaturian piano concerto with Lorin Hollander.

As Hollander`s rather few recordings seem to be rare/sought after I`m wondering whether a quality company will treat us with a quality reissue .... ever ....
