JSngry
The 3/14 issue of Time arrived in the mailbox today, and the opening paragraph of one of the two Trump cover stories contains this "gem" from David Von Drehle: Quote Donald J. Trump's Super Tuesday bandwagon had thundered into southwestern Virginia, where some 4,000 people crammed into a university gymnasium to hear his free-jazz speech, brief themes unspooling into loose improvisations. No political intent in posting this, just wanting to point out what for me is one of the more unexpectedly hilarious spottings of "jazz", free or otherwise, in the general press of recent times, if not ever. Although, I get that people who are appalled by both Trump & Free Jazz might well feel doubly refreshed by the comparison.

Scott Dolan
The problem being his only improvisational skill is to say nothing, then repeat it several times. Perhaps he's more "Smooth" Jazz.
Utevsky
A totally uncalled-for insult to free jazz! And who would expect better from Time magazine?
