Dave Liebman Group Expansions in Athens (04/19) & Atlanta (04/21)

FYI to all who live in metro Atlanta:

Dave Liebman's new group, Expansions, will be playing in Athens at Hendershot's Coffee House & Bar on Tuesday, 04/19.  Details here. 

Two days later, on Thursday, 04/21, they'll be playing at the Red Clay Music Foundry in Duluth. Details here.

I will definitely be at the performance in Duluth. I may go to the show in Athens too, depending on my work schedule.

I'm looking forward to hearing Lieb again.

Thanks for sharing that info. I just did a phone interview with Dave Liebman in February for a cover story in May's issue of The New York City Jazz Record. He told me about his Nashville gig, but I think that Duluth would be a lot easier for me to attend.

I'm not as young as I used to be, so I'm easily confused!!!  

BTW: The show in Athens was terrific. I'm excited that I get to see & hear them again tonight!

It was great to run into HutchFan and his friend, though the crowd was sparse. I guess Atlanta jazz fans don't want to drive 10-12 miles outside of the I-285 perimeter on a weeknight. It was worth the drive for me and we heard an all electric set.

Dave Liebman was so pleased with the soundboard engineer and venue that he had Expansions recorded.
