Hardbopjazz
What we need then is an atomic clock. sync it uo with ebay's clock and have a bid placed 1 second before the end.
Jazzmoose
Actually, being a bit of an asshole, if I'm doing a manual snipe on something I found that's about to close that has a bid, I like to hit it with ten seconds left, so the other person has time to refresh and see my bid, but not enough time to respond.... Now that's infantile!
alocispepraluger102
I'm baffled. I lost another auction. I was the only bidder till less then 10 seconds. The opening bid was $15 for an OOP Argo LP. I made a max bid of $26 for it. There was less then 10 seconds left and someone, with just one bid beat me out. How can you defend against sniping or whatever. Now the winner had over 1500 auctions to his name. Maybe there is a fine art to this. I refreshed with just over 10 seconds left and I was still the only bidder. The next thing I know, the auction ended and I was not the winner. my tastes are so oblique and obscure that i dont even consider 'snipers'
