I think that about says it all.... .

On the other hand, music recorded at home can have a relaxed, offhand quality that you don't always get when the studio clock is ticking.  This is why home demos are sometimes much better than the finished product.

If Coleman Hawkins' 1939 version of 'Body and Soul' isn't perfect, it's just so close to it that it doesn't matter.  My opinion of course but after listening for 50 years, I'm entitled to having a few of them.
