This is the 1986 DIW Japanese release of the 1959 set with

Tommy Flanagan,

Jimmy Garrison and

Pete LaRoca.

Produced by Don Schlitten

CD is in clean shape but does not come with any inserts. I bought it used at a jazz record center in NYC for $20.00.

While I really enjoy Monterose in Action as well as his Blue Note set, this one just doesn't do it for me.

I'd be willing to trade this one for one of the following:

Just a note to say this was really produced by Manny Albam. Schlitten only produced the (maybe bootleg) version on Xanadu.
