Son-of-a-Weizen
Saw this ad in the paper. Including the stands, this system runs about $6,500. Throw on Roy Haynes 'Cracklin' or Blakey's 'Indestructible' and I have a hard time believing that this set of dixie cups on stilts can really deliver the goods. But maybe that's just plain wrong......anyone ever heard this in action?
chris olivarez
No and at $6500 dollars the odds on that happening aren't real good either.
7/4
No and at $6500 dollars the odds on that happening aren't real good either. It would make more sense to invest in a pair of Fender Twins.

Jim Alfredson
Bang & Olufsen have been around a long time and have made some real nice stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if they sound marvelous. $6500 marvelous? Probably not.
Christiern
Bang & Olufsen, a Danish company, has indeed been around for a long time (I became a customer in 1950) and its good reputation for being innovative goes beyond design. Fort $6,500 one is, I suspect, paying for the brand name, but there is also very good reason to believe that these speakers will deliver. Weizen, you will hear "Hail to the Chief" like you never heard it before, but--and here I go suspecting again--you might not enjoy it beyond November.
