Rather than lament over an unobtainable Transition date, I'm enjoying "Equinox". It's a newly released recording from 1984 that features Jay on tenor, Conte Condoli on trumpet, Joe Lettieri on piano, Jim Crutcher on bass, and Chiz Harris on drums. Omnivore OV-513.
