Jackie Gleason's 1956 Christmas album has to be one of the most understated - some might describe it as "depressing" - Christmas albums ever made.  I love playing this album during the holidays at around twilight time, with a glass of bourbon or rye or scotch.  It fits the mood perfectly.

I have the original LP and the CD that you posted. I typically don't pay attention to mastering unless it is particularly bad.  What mastermind thought the reissue cover art was better than the original?
