Bol Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 (edited) I've recently purchased used copies of some of Fats Waller & Rhythm series put out by RCA/Bluebird in the 90s. I have a question. One of them -- "Breaking the Ice -- Early Years Part I" came in a thin space-saving jewel case. Now, because other ones came in larger jewel cases that can house up to 4 CDs (I think you know what I am talking about), I am suspicious that a previous owner of my copy of "Breaking the Ice" changed jewel cases and got rid of the front insert. If you have this set, could you tell me whether your copy came in a thin case or a larger case? Sorry to list this question here, but I did not know where else to put it. Chuck Nessa Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 Yes, it came in what is called a "chubby double". Yours has been repackaged. Quote

Bol Posted April 8, 2004 Author Report Posted April 8, 2004 Thank you all. I've reached a settlement with the seller of this set. I wish these sets were still available so that I don't have to bother with issues like this. Quote
