Holy senility. So I pull this album out, remembering it as an enjoyable one. (I only see my LPs twice a year.) Yeah, still like it. Figure it deserves a mention or thread at Organissimo board. Better do a search first, to be sure some genius hasn't already started such a thread.

Man, I'm losing it. Not that I had that much to lose. 2004 thread, with a "re-discovery" in 2009. Three lessons here: (1) my tastes haven't changed all that much. (2) Senility is great for enabling revelations again and again. (3) I forget the third one.

It's no Griff and Lockjaw or anything. But it should be heard.

Based on a quick peek at Amazon, it looks like the download is still six bucks. Otherwise this is still an LP or import item (and out of stock at that).

There is an issue on Jazz Beat called Move on Over - The Eddie Buster Sides, which includes this and, uh, Move On Over.

And yeah there was a Japanese reissue. Japan, where PD is also 50 years. I've got the LP, somewhere...

Do not despair. There's an upside to everything. In this case, it won't be too long before you can hide your own Easter eggs.
